I. PAUL INSTRUCTS TIMOTHY AS TO THE QUALIFICATIONS OF DEACONS AND GLORIFIES CHRIST (3:8-16).

A. Qualifications for deacons (v. 8-10, 12)

1. Character: grave (v. 8).

2. Character: not doubled-tongued (v.8).

4. Character: not greedy of filthy lucre (v.8).

I. PAUL INSTRUCTS TIMOTHY AS TO THE PROPER CONDUCT ESPECIALLY IN THE TIMES OF APOSTASY (4:1-16).

A. Paul warns of apostasy from the faith (v. 1-6).
