III. PETER'S PROCLAMATION OF JESUS AS CHRIST AND LORD WITH ITS EFFECTS (2:22-47).

A. Events of Jesus' life, death and resurrection presented (v.22-24).

B. Jesus' resurrection was predicted by David (v.25-31).

C. Jesus' resurrection confirmed by apostles' witness (v.32).

D. Jesus exalted to the throne of God - author of the miraculous baptism of the Holy Spirit (v.33-35).

IV.  PETER MIRACULOUSLY HEALS LAME MAN AND PREACHES SECOND SERMON (Chapter 3).

       A. Peter heals lame man at Beautiful Gate - entrance to temple court (v.1-11).  

       B. Peter explains the power behind the miraculous healing (v.12-16).

       C. Peter preaches that Christ's death prophesied - forgiveness of  sins offered (v.17-21).

       D. Peter preaches that Jesus is the prophet Moses said would come and through whom covenant blessings fulfilled (v.22-26).
