JOB: LESSON NINE


INTRODUCTION:

 Since Job wanted a trial before God, God now examines Job’s competence.  God speaks in the whirlwind and examines Job’s knowledge of creative wisdom, providential care for the animial creation, and power to restrain forces at work in the world.  Between God’s two speeches lies Job’s short submissive response (40:3-5)

IX. GOD REPLIES TO JOB (38-41).

JOB: LESSON TEN


INTRODUCTION:

 In this lesson, we observe Job’s “later end” where he is doubly blessed before his friends.  God’s approval of Job and anger toward his friends is clear.  Job’s suffering is changed to prosperity again and continues until his death in his old age.
